Faraway Families Holiday Promotion Donates to Kids Up Front Calgary

Faraway Families is pleased to announce that it will be donating copies of its books to Kids Up Front Calgary, an organization near and dear to their heart. Since it has been a tough year for everyone and with further restrictions on family gatherings, Faraway Families wants to give back to children who will be far away from their families over the Christmas and Hanukkah holidays in December. 

To do this, though, Faraway Families needs your help!

For every holiday package purchased through farawayfamilies.ca between November 1 and December 15, 2020, Faraway Families will match with a donation to Kids Up Front Calgary,  a registered charity that provides arts and entertainment experiences to deserving children and youth. In addition, Faraway Families will donate postcards for the children to personally colour and send to their loved ones near or far.

For the holidays last year, Faraway Families donated books to the Military Family Resource Centre in Calgary, which were well-received by families who had their loved ones stationed abroad. This year, Faraway Families wants to double (or triple!) their donations for children who need an extra reminder that they are loved, no matter where they are or how far away they may be from their family.

When you purchase your special holiday package, it will come individually wrapped directly to the destination of your choice, anywhere in the world, with a personalized holiday greeting card for your loved one. There are no additional shipping fees. In addition to your purchase, you have the added knowledge that your purchase also made it possible for one child at Kids Up Front Calgary to receive a free book. 

Faraway Families follows best friends, Mae and Jae, who are learning to stay connected to their family members who do not live nearby. Faraway Families reminds readers ages 0 to 99 that we are always family, no matter how far apart we may be.
